Eyewitness Testimony—Film & Literature
A publication that acts as an enquiry into our idea of perception and imagination through literature and how its interpretation can be translated into reality.

Based on the film Rashomon (1950) by Akira Kurosawa and its originating text In A Grove (1922) by Ryunosuke Akutagawa. Participants who have never read the book or seen the film were asked to draw what they believed was happening within each chapter of the book. This was then compared to the same point within the film to see if there were any connections between the participants perception of what was happening and what actually occurred.
